Origin

ScriptFinder is the evolution of MoviePitcher, a platform that became one of the largest databases of English-language film and television projects.

Through years of working with submitted material, development teams, and producers, one pattern became clear:

projects were being evaluated under different criteria, by different readers, at different moments in time — making comparison and reconsideration increasingly difficult.

ScriptFinder was built to solve that problem at scale.
